Prior ceramic experience is considered and asset. Full training will will be provided to the chosen candidate. 1+ years of work experience. Preference to candidates with relevant work experience in arts or children's programs. Outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic Punctual & Reliable Enjoy working with children and adults. Self directed and Motivated Passionate about art/ceramics NOTE: For the Pottery on Canyon to qualify for the 2024 CBT Summer Works Grant, the eligible candidate must be 15+ years old and enrolled in full time studies. Either Secondary or Post Secondary education in both 2023/2024 & 2024/2025 |
| Duties |
The Pottery on Canyon requires one summer student to run the Pottery studio, hours will vary but generally will be Thursday to Sunday. Under supervision of the studio owner and staff, you will assist with designing and running children's pottery programs, drop in wheel lessons, assisting staff with ceramic production, pottery sales, cleaning and general studio tasks.
