Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of mechanically related experience • Ideally experience with turf grass maintenance equipment. • Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems. • Experience with gas, diesel, electric and small engines. • The ability to weld and do minor fabrication work would be an asset. • Be punctual and have a strong work ethic. Able to work with a team and create a positive work environment. • Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated. • Able to communicate with staff about proper equipment operation and care. |
Duties |
Duties and Responsibilities • Repair and maintenance of all rotary/reel mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, trucks, sprayers, and small engine equipment. • Keep detailed records of parts inventory, service intervals, replacement parts, grinding schedules and labor for each piece of equipment. • Preventatively maintain all equipment within monthly budgets. • Must be able to work with The Cutting unit technician, but still have knowledge of John Deer cutting units and general maintenance. • Keep an organized, clean, and well stocked shop area. • Have knowledge of the game of golf and turf care r |
