Duties Job Responsibilities
- Serve patrons by providing information to help food & beverage selections, presenting ordered choices, ensuring quality products and service, maintain dining ambiance

Server Duties
- Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- Greet & seat customers looking to dine
- Serve tables in a small section based on the amount of staff on shift
- Take payments for own tables as well as on behalf of other servers
- Clear and sanitize tables and re-usable goods in between use
- Help patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu; offering cocktails and aperitifs, suggesting courses; explaining the chef’s specialities, identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions
- Transmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons’ choices, identifying dietary needs and special requests
- Keep patrons informed of food and drink delivery times, explaining possible delays, bringing water or sides of food if delays
- Serve orders by delivering patrons’ choices from bar and kitchen, delivering accompaniments and condiments
- Respond to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs, observing dining process. Quality check food within 1 minute
- Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, being alert to patron needs. Promote upselling of desserts or after-dining drinks
- Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant, providing a bill & inviting patrons to return
- Obtain payments by totalling charges, issuing bill, delivering bill, accepting payments, and returning change
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties assigned
