| Requirements |
-Prior organic farming experience is an asset but not required. -Candidates must be physically fit, able to lift up to 20kg, bend for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions. -We seek someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and keen attention to detail. -Must be able to take direction, learn quickly, and work comfortably both independently and as part of a team. -Flexibility for extended hours, weekends, or holiday shifts is essential. -Reliable transportation and basic English language skills are required. |
| Duties |
-Participate in crop management tasks including seeding, transplanting, weeding, irrigation, pruning, and trellising using hand tools and small equipment. -Assist with harvesting, tool sanitation, and post-harvest produce preparation such as rinsing, bunching, and packaging. -Follow all farm safety, food safety, and organic certification protocols. -Communicate effectively with farm managers regarding daily tasks and priorities. -Support farmer's market attendance as needed. -Take on additional farm-related responsibilities to support overall operations. |
