Assists individuals to live successfully in residential settings such as group homes. Ensures that individuals’ physical, emotional, social, educational, medical needs are met. Assists individuals to enhance quality of life with activities of daily living and the development of life skills. Worksite: Purcell Place Shift Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 8:00am - 2:00pm; Monday & Tuesday 2:00pm - 8:30pm Worksite: 25th Ave Shift Schedule:Monday and Tuesday 2:00pm-9:00pm Saturday and Sunday 7:00am-9:00pm Worksite: Orchard House Shift Schedule:Wed-Fri 11pm-9am (3on / 4off) Wage: $25.95 |
| Duties |
1. Participates in the assessment, goal setting and program planning (Personal Service Plan) for individuals living in a residence. Documents, implements and provides input into the evaluation of the program. 2. Provides life skills training such as meal preparation, housekeeping, personal care skills and personal finance and implements personal service plans. 3. Assists individuals with activities of daily living such as feeding, lifts, transfers, hygiene, grooming and toileting. This may include transfer function duties such as gastrostomy feeding. |
