Technical Skills: Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and ability to operate industrial bakery equipment.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, work in high temperatures, and lift heavy bags of flour or ingredients.
Safety & Sanitation: Understanding of food safety regulations and maintenance of high cleanliness standards.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to strict production schedules.

Typical Qualifications:
Previous experience in a bakery or commercial kitchen setting preferred but not necessary
Food Handler's Certificate
Ability to work early morning, weekend, or holiday shifts.

Duties Key Responsibilities
Preparation & Mixing: Measuring ingredients, kneading dough, preparing batters for cakes, cookies, and muffins, and preparing fillings or toppings.
Production Baking: Operating mixers, proofers, and commercial ovens to bake products.
Station Setup & Cleaning: Cleaning and sanitizing baking equipment (rolling pins, mixers, ovens) and ensuring the workstation is organized, often before high-volume service.
Inventory & Storage: Properly storing ingredients, organizing inventory, and monitoring supplies to minimize waste.
Quality Control: Ensuring all products meet established quality, appearance, and taste standards
