Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role preferred but not necessary
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift heavy items.
Knowledge: Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation regulations (e.g., proper food handling).
Communication: Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.

Typical Physical Demands
Standing and walking for 6–8 hours.
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Working in varying temperatures (hot kitchens, cold walk-in coolers).

Duties Key Responsibilities
Food Prep: Washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruits and vegetables; slicing meats; and measuring ingredients for recipes.
Station Setup: Setting up and organizing workstations with necessary ingredients and cooking tools.
Inventory Management: Labeling, dating, and properly storing food in coolers, freezers, and dry storage.
Sanitation: Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas, including managing trash.
Support: Assisting chefs and line cooks, sometimes preparing simple, cold items like salads or sauces.
