| Requirements |
A minimum of three years of cooking experience or an acceptable combination of related experience, education, and training is preferred. Working toward Journeyman papers or possessing a Red Seal is also advantageous. You must have or be able to obtain a food safety certificate, and having a Serving It Right certificate is a plus. Must tolerate frequent bending, lifting, stooping, standing, and walking. Some heavy lifting and carrying of objects is required. Employees should be prepared to work in indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperature levels. |
| Duties |
This position requires you to work on the line producing food that consistently meets our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures across the resort's various kitchens. You will assist with food prep during off-peak periods and ensure that all safe food handling practices and safety policies are always followed. You must have a strong understanding of cooking Fine Dining and Lounge-style food and be capable of assisting the First Cook on the hot side or preparing food independently on the cold side. |
