Experience: Housekeeping: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: class 5 drivers license (preferred) QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Comfort and confidence driving a company Sprinter van is required. Knowledge of and passion for customer service and employee support. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and communication. Energetic, flexible, and reliable individual with initiative and integrity. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and perform tasks with minimal supervision. Good organizational skills with ability to track multiple ongoing tasks. Ability to build positive relationships with team members and management. Previous hotel, administration, or customer-service experience is an asset. Housekeeping or room inspection experience is considered an asset. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license (required or strong asset depending on property needs). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs: pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. First aid certification is considered an asset. Excellent communication skills. Availability to work weekends and flexible hours to support move-ins and move-outs. | Duties |
JOB SUMMARY: The Staff Housing Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring that all staff accommodations are well-maintained, welcoming, and ready for occupancy. This position serves as the main point of contact between new and existing team members regarding their housing needs, while also ensuring high cleanliness and safety standards within the units. In addition, this role supports housekeeping operations and assists with general cleaning and inspections as needed. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate staff housing assignments and maintain an accurate occupancy list. Communicate with the Front Office team to allocate rooms and prepare units for staff arrivals. Welcome incoming team members and assist with move-in instructions, keys, and unit orientation. Conduct unit inspections upon departures and arrivals, ensuring cleanliness and readiness. Perform cleaning duties of units during turnovers, including full deep clean when required. Operate the company Sprinter van to provide airport pick-ups and drop-offs for team members as required. Transport team members between Copper Point Resort and sister properties, including Canmore, as needed. Conduct staff shuttle runs within Invermere based on staffing locations and operational requirements. Ensure safe operation of the company vehicle and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Assist with inventory management of linens, cleaning supplies, and housing-related items. Respond to housing-related concerns and escalate maintenance issues to appropriate departments. Maintain records of inspections, damages, cleaning schedules, and housing communications. Coordinate departures and move-outs; ensure proper key return, documentation, and room condition. Support general housekeeping operations when required. Supporting the implementation and organization of an ordering and inventory system for Invermere Inn. Help maintain cleanliness and organization in staff housing common areas. Communicate regularly with department managers regarding occupancy, issues, and upcoming changes. Update internal housing files and ensure accurate communication of available units. Enforce housing rules and ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and property guidelines. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Team Lead and Housekeeping Manager. |
