Job Duties and Responsibilitis Server – Job Responsibilities (Fine Dining Restaurant) Spice Hut Invermere • Take food and beverage orders and enter them accurately into the POS system. • Maintain accurate bills and collect payments in accordance with company procedures. • Ensure cleanliness of work areas and equipment in front and back of house, following restaurant standards. • Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, prices, service requirements, and table settings. • Comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and safety standards. • Inspect assigned stations to ensure cleanliness and proper setup. • Greet guests upon arrival and assist with seating as required. • Open and serve wine or champagne in accordance with service standards. • Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and address concerns professionally. • Handle guest complaints effectively and escalate to management when necessary. • Complete opening, closing, and side duties as assigned. • Adhere to payment, cash handling, and credit procedures at all times. |
