Requirements Qualifications:

· Guest-oriented and service-minded.

· Extensive food and beverage knowledge and service standards, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff.

· Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).

· Knowledge in Silverware and EZchef a benefit.

· Proven work experience as a food and beverage supervisor or similar role.

· Required licenses, certificates and registrations:

Ø Valid Serve it Right certification

Ø Food safe certification is an asset

Ø First aid certification is an asset





WORKING CONDITIONS:



The incumbent may work a variety of shifts. Occasionally, a requirement may arise to work overtime based on occupancy and staffing levels.

Work location is on-site.

Physical Demands: The incumbent will spend long hours walking, standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and reaching.



Environmental Conditions: Occasional exposure to cold / hot temperatures and water.



Sensory Demands: The incumbent will have to manage several tasks at one time and will be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of position. The environment will be busy, sometimes noisy, and the incumbent will need advanced organizational, time and stress management skills to complete the required tasks.



Mental Demands - The incumbent will deal with a stressful, fast paced environment with immediate and last-minute requests for services.

Duties Position Overview:

The Food and Beverage Supervisor at INNHotels is responsible for helping to oversee all front of house F&B operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in the management all front of house F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards. (Restaurant, Banquets, Pool Bar)

· Maintain positive customer relationships, process complaints, and respond to customer needs.

· Serve a small section when needed.

· Provide support for the service staff.

· Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.

· Ability to manage guest flow and guest table assignments

· Identify customers needs and respond proactively to any concerns.

· Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.

· Comply with all health and safety regulations.

· Work well with the food and beverage manager to provide a top-notch customer experience.

· Assist with banquets planning, organizing & executing.
