| Requirements |
Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management, ideally in a small or growing organization. Proven ability to prepare and interpret financial reports for leadership. Diploma, certificate, or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required; CPA is an asset. Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Microsoft 365, and Excel required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. High initiative, accountability, time management, and comfort working across transactional and strategic finance tasks. |
| Duties |
Provide senior financial leadership and hands-on bookkeeping support. Prepare weekly financial summaries with insights, risks, and recommendations. Lead bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online, including reconciliations, AP/AR, payroll, and statutory remittances (GST, WorkSafeBC). Prepare monthly financial statements and support year-end processes with external accountants. Proactively identify issues and improve financial processes.
