Little Dog Farm is hiring a Seasonal Farmer to manage our orchard, small-scale vegetable production and livestock. On-site accommodation and training is available making this your perfect summer job in the beautiful Creston valley. As a Farmer at Little Dog Farm, you will responsible for the day-to-day management of farm activities, with a main focus on our 10 acre orchard. Orchard experience is preferred, but not essential. Minimum of one seasons’ experience on a farm. Tractor driving experience is helpful. We can teach you but you must feel confident enough to operate large machinery. |

Orchard maintenance (mowing, fence repairs, etc.) Tree Pruning Irrigation management Trellis maintenance Compost Production Biological amendment production and application Weeding Greenhouse and outdoor vegetable care and harvesting Feeding livestock (small herd/flock of goats, sheep and chickens) |
