You’ll build strong connections with local employers by getting involved in the community, making outreach calls, networking, and nurturing relationships over time. Working closely with the Employer Liaison, you’ll stay plugged into the local job market so you can spot opportunities early. You’ll help match clients with employers which fit both the employer’s needs and the client’s strengths sometimes through job carving or customized placements. You will also support clients in conversations with employers and provide ongoing job retention support to make sure they not only land the job but keep it. Your work helps create sustainable employment solutions that benefit both job seekers and local businesses.

About You:
You're a people person who enjoys building relationships and connecting with others—whether it’s clients, coworkers, or community partners.
You communicate clearly and comfortably, both in writing and in conversation, and you know how to tailor your message to different audiences.
You stay organized and on top of things, even when you're juggling multiple projects or deadlines.
You work well with others and value being part of a team where trust, respect, and collaboration matter.
You like thinking outside the box and staying flexible—especially when plans change or challenges come up unexpectedly.

Work closely with Employment Consultants to match clients with roles that suit their skills and goals.
Actively connect with employers through outreach, networking, and cold calls to uncover job openings—including in the hidden job market.
Support clients with job readiness, coaching, and retention—especially those who need a bit of extra guidance.
Customize job opportunities through job carving or modified roles to better fit client strengths and abilities.
Stay in regular contact with employers and clients to ensure successful, long-term job matches.
