Overview We are seeking a dedicated Roofer/Laborer to join our team. This position involves working on various roofing projects, providing essential support in construction tasks, and ensuring high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be comfortable with heavy lifting, and possess a variety of skills related to construction and carpentry. Responsibilities • Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs on residential and commercial buildings. • Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to complete roofing tasks. • Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements. • Perform caulking and sealing to ensure roofs are watertight. • Engage in heavy lifting and physical labor as required during roofing projects. • Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed on-site. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Experience • Previous experience in construction or carpentry is preferred but not mandatory. • Familiarity with hand tools and their proper usage is essential. • Experience with caulking techniques is a plus. • A background in maintenance person services can be beneficial for this role. • Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
