| Requirements |
-Proven experience as a heavy-duty mechanic (3+ years preferred). -Certification in Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics (Red Seal or equivalent is an asset). -Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. -Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 is an asset). -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Willingness to work in various conditions, including outdoor job sites and shop environments. |
| Duties |
-Perform regular maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy trucks, trailers, and equipment. -Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. -Conduct inspections and ensure equipment meets all safety and regulatory standards. -Respond to breakdowns in the field when necessary. -Maintain accurate records of repairs and service schedules. -Collaborate with operators and drivers to identify and address equipment issues. |
