Cresteramics is a Commission Accredited Rehabilitation Facility (CARF) providing meaningful opportunities that enrich our community for people with intellectual disabilities. Qualifications
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Non-Profit Management (CNP), Social Work, Business Management, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of five years of management experience, with strong knowledge of governance, Human Resources, community and public relations
• Experience in the not-for-profit sector and grant writing are assets.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with social media platforms

Benefits
Although this is not a union position, all benefits are provided in accordance with the Community Social Services Employers Association (CSSEA) of BC collective agreement. Work-related travel and expenses are covered by the employer.


Duties Key Responsibilities
As the Executive Director, you will report to the Board of Directors and be responsible for leading the strategic direction, operations, and community partnerships of Cresteramics by:
• Overseeing daily operations and administration
• Planning and controlling an annual budget of $1.3 million
• Developing and implementing policies and programs in line with Community Living BC (CLBC)
• Preparing funding applications, grant proposals, and reports
• Leading contract negotiations and representing the organization in official functions
• Overseeing and maintaining CARF Accreditation
• Building and maintaining strong community partnerships and relationships with local authorities, funders and service providers
• Overseeing the management and maintenance of physical assets
• Ensuring a safe and engaging work environment



Reporting & Supervision
• Supervise approximately 11.2 full-time equivalent (FTE) staff (twenty employees)
• Report directly to the Board of Directors

• Ability to travel on an irregular basis, including overnight stays as needed
