We are seeking a skilled Baker/cook to join our team at the great starting wage of $*25/hr. *The candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, food prep and executing items to order/ to -go while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency at the Cafe. This shift will be an early morning shift 3-4am to 11am -12pm but with some flexibility. This person must have their own accommodation and means of commuting to Steamboat Cafe in Radium Hot Springs. |
| Duties |
*Responsibilities* - Prepare and bake a range of bread, buns, pastries, bagels etc. -Cook to-order menu items and prep grab-and-go items - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations - Maintain a presentable, clean and professional appearance in our open- kitchen. - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Maintain a clean and organized baking area - Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes *Experience* - Proven experience as a Cook and/or Baker or relevant role in the food industry - Willingness to work early morning shifts to have baked goods ready |
