Job Overview: Truline Truss is offering a rewarding opportunity as a Driver/Production Assembler on our award-winning team in Creston, British Columbia. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, detail oriented, and motivated to grow within the company. As an important member of the operations team, you will assist the Operations Manager.?Experience in manufacturing or construction along with familiarity and comfort using simple power tools would help set you up for success. What You’ll do: Production Assembler: • Works with a Team Leader to set up the workstation for each order as directed by the Team Leader.? • Assembles components in accordance with the company procedures, SWOP and as instructed by Team Leader.? • Regularly inspects and checks the quality of the work being performed as well as the quality of the materials and condition of the equipment; and reports any problems to the Team Leader.? • Responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct, and careful manner, as instructed.? • Maintains a clean workstation by following a 6S system. Sort, Set-In-Order Shine, Standardize, Sustain & Safety. • Work in a team environment. • Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift. • Other duties as assigned. Driver: • Read and understand factory shop drawing. • Conduct pre and post shift inspections of equipment and fill out reports. • Ensure load is fully secured. • Call/text Customers before delivering material • Deliver trusses and other building materials. • Ensure all product is counted and on the load before leaving yard. • Ensure deliveries are made on time and include all necessary materials. • Take photos of materials once safely delivered to site. • Responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct and careful manner as instructed. • Maintain delivery timelines. • Conduct yourself in a safe, professional and courteous manner at all times. Education: • Current Class 5 with heavy trailer endorsement. • Class 1 or 3 would be considered an asset. • Clear driving abstract. |
