Job Overview *THIS JOB IS LOCATED IN INVERMERE,BC. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and residential painting, (interior and exterior) with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. The selected applicant will have experience as a professional painter. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all projects meet the specifications outlined in specific job scopes cleanly and efficiently. Strong communication skills and customer service orientation are essential for this role. The Painter must be efficient, trustworthy and respectful and thrive in working in both a team environment as well as alone. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using hand tools and equipment. Restore surfaces as needed, ensuring a smooth and even finish. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress and addressing any concerns. Skills Experience in commercial painting techniques as well as residential painting applications for interior and exterior surfaces. Ability to use hand tools effectively for surface preparation and finishing tasks. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients professionally. Knowledge of drywall repair techniques is a plus. Customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
