Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and storage areas.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards throughout the cooking process.
Help manage inventory by tracking food supplies and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Participate in the training of new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and safety practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
