Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in baking, with a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of taste and presentation. You will play a key role in creating delightful treats for our customers while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. We are willing to interview those with a passion for wanting to learn as well and willing to train the right person if relevant experience is not part of your skill set. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures. Package baked goods for display or sale, ensuring they are presented attractively. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and taking special orders as needed. Keep the kitchen area clean and organized, following all health regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in a baking or culinary role is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
