Requirements |
At least 5 years of experience in budgeting, financial management, accounting, or bookkeeping and 3 years in project management, human resources, or team leadership. Experience with non-profit organizations is strongly valued, especially finances, funding, administration and planning. Strong assets: Environmental field familiarity (science, conservation, engineering) and relevant post-secondary education. CPA designation is an asset. Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents or Refugee status. Elk Valley resident and local knowledge preferred. Some on-job training for right candidate. |
Duties |
Reporting to the Executive Director, this role oversees finances, operations, human resources, grants and compliance to ensure ERA’s financial and organizational health. Role manages day-to-day operations in financial performance, resourcing and HR. Financial duties include budgets, planning, reports, controls, bookkeeping. Must uphold ERA’s public reputation and represent its positions within the community, maintain strong partner relationships, and ensure a safe, equitable and collaborative workplace.
