We are seeking a BC Certified Infant/Toddler Educator to work at our thriving licensed Children's Centre in Invermere. We run an Infant/Toddler program, Group 3 to 5 program, and Out-of-School care. Qualifications -Experience working with infants and toddlers -Strong background in early childhood education -Effective teaching skills and strategies tailored to engage young learners -Commitment to fostering a safe and nurturing environment for children -Alert & Joyful Position Requirements: -Infant/Toddler Educator License Good to Have: -Child First Aide -CPR Certificate -Criminal Rec. | Duties |
-Development and implementation of childcare programs addressing all domains of learning (physical, cognitive, creative, emotional, social) -Ensure programming contributes to emerging curriculum addressing respect for self, each other, and the environment. -Deliver activities, including health, safety & nutrition, fine & gross motor activities, storytelling, literacy & numeracy work, songs, mechanisms of creative expression through various forms of expression, and self care skills that promote independence. -Contribute to care of the facility and its equipment. -40 hr/wk -Benefits -M to F |
