Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate / Bike Mechanic to join our team. As an associate at Columbia Cycle, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our products, and driving sales. Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in finding the right products and provide product information
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Process customer returns and exchanges
- Perform inventory management tasks, including restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
Experience:
- Previous sales experience and knowledge of the bike industry is required
- Bike Mechanic experience is a must
- Strong cash handling skills
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries
