Our Ideal Candidate: Must be comfortable with heights and climbing into tight spaces! Experience in carpentry Ability to read and write and do math Must have basic computer understanding Knowledge of building science is an asset! Proficiency in using tools such as drills, tape measures, knifes, and caulk guns Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and climbing, crawling through tight spaces Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to communicate well with others |
| Duties |
Role and Responsibilities: Prepare the work space and install cellulose and other types of insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings (We do not install fiberglass! But, can come in contact with fiberglass in attic spaces) Install insulation stops in attic spaces Measure and cut insulation netting to fit specific areas Put cellulose insulation into blower machine Install vapor and air barriers Repair or replace damaged insulation materials Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation Follow insulation practices, safety policies, & protocols |
