Preferred qualifications: •Relevant Master’s degree (Social Work, Psychology, Child and Youth Care, Counselling Psychology) preferred •At least 2 years relevant group counselling experience preferred •Registration with a regulatory body preferred, does not need to be BC based registration. •Ability to work with men within a client-centred, strength-based approach. •Emergency first aid with CPR B. •Criminal Record Check |
| Duties |
Job Responsibilities: •Set-up and tear down space for group counselling including picking up food and other supplies, setting up the space, and cleaning up •Provide group counselling to adult men in a client-centred, strength-based way •Approach group counselling from a culture-infused, anti-oppression perspective •Provide crisis intervention services when necessary •Collate statistics and provide reports on service delivery •Consult/liaise with Columbia Basin Family Resource Society staff as necessary •Consult/liaise with community agencies, schools, and hospitals as necessary |
