This position provides light housekeeping for seniors living in their own homes. Housekeepers organise schedules with individual seniors and work under the direction of the Better at Home Coordinator. Housekeeping services are typically provided twice per month for approximately two hours per individual. | Duties |
Light Housekeeping cleaning duties can include, but not limited to: Clean and sanitize bathrooms Clean kitchens counters, cabinets, touch surfaces Sweep and wash floors (Laminate and Tile) Vacuum carpets, area rugs, empty and dispose of garbage and recycling. Clean windowsills, windows/glass doors as needed. Wipe down walls and door surfaces, as needed. Clean and sanitize door handles and other high touch surfaces, change bed linens and wash laundry when required. Other cleaning duties as requested Attend contractor information meetings 3-4 times a year |
