QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred Experience providing support services to individuals and families with trauma histories Training in trauma informed care, impacts of sexual assault, cultural sensitivity, child/adolescent development, collaborative problem solving preferred Knowledge of Criminal Justice System preferred Current Criminal Records Check BC Driver’s license and abstract Reliable vehicle |
Duties |
Permanent Part Time- up to 30 hrs per week. Provide coordination services including crisis response, safety planning, emotional support and referrals to assist participants (of all ages) in addressing the impacts of sexual assault. Additionally, provide guidance to support improved communication skills, household management skills, independent living/life skills, coping skills and social/regulation skills and parenting education to support participants and families to function to their highest capacity. |
