Excellent earning opportunity to enjoy top wages in a valuable trade! We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a ceramic tile apprentice! As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced ceramic tilers, learning the skills and techniques to become a skilled certified ceramic tile installer. This is a hands-on apprenticeship that will provide you with practical experience in the tile installation industry. Responsibilities: • Assist with preparation of surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, cutting and leveling surfaces • Learning to mix and apply adhesives, grout, and other materials required for installation • Work with experienced tile setters to lay and cut tiles in accordance with specifications and design plans • Learn to use tools and equipment required for tile installation, such as tile cutters, saws and hand tools • Assist with clean-up and removal of debris after tile installation is complete • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment |
| Duties |
Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 50 pounds • Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team • Valid BC driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites Availability: • 40 hours/week • Monday – Friday This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to learn a skilled trade and build a career in the tile installation industry.
