With offices in Creston, Cranbrook, Fernie and Invermere, we administer multiple employment contracts, funded by various stakeholders including provincial and federal sources. These programs are designed to assist local community members to find meaningful and sustainable employment.

Administrator and Reporting Specialist
This position is responsible for administration and reporting within the programming department. You will support a team of exceptional and dedicated facilitators in serving our clients. Your primary responsibilities include collating information and producing comprehensive reports for our funders and the Senior Leadership Team. Additionally, you will support clients, the leadership team, and the broader organization by adhering to data quality processes, financial management, and reporting tasks. Other duties include general program administration, acting as a point of contact for internal communications, maintaining records, and ensuring contract compliance.

Location: Creston/Cranbrook/Fernie/Invermere
Hours: 37.5 hrs./week
Pay scale: $25.00 – 28.00

Qualifications and Skills

Education:
A university degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience:
· Previous experience in business and technical environments.
· Experience with managing multiple databases and developing reports.
· Experience working with marginalized populations is an asset.
· LMS (Learning Management System) experience is an asset.
Technical Proficiency:
· Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, online applications, web based research tools, email, and office equipment such as fax, photocopier, scanner, and printer).
· Ability to learn and adapt to new technology, tools, and systems.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
· Strong command of the English language with excellent communication skills.
· Ability to develop and maintain respectful, collaborative, and productive relationships with individuals and teams.
· Comfortable contacting and interacting with businesses and community stakeholders.
· High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
· Reliable and proactive in maintaining up to date client files with time-sensitive paperwork.
· Skilled at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Initiative and Independence:
· Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.
· Self-directed learner, taking responsibility for personal learning and improvement.
Data Management and Reporting:
· Precise data input and ability to understand and implement contract policy.
· Ability to track participant progress and program outcomes using Excel spreadsheets.
Additional Requirements:
· A clean criminal record check for the vulnerable sector.
· Typing speed of 40 words per minute minimum.
· Understanding of privacy and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

How is remuneration decided?
We provide training to new hires with core skills to ensure they can develop the necessary competencies. As you progress in this role, you will clearly see your level of pay within our model, and as your required skills increase, so too can your wage. Most staff start at $25.00 per hour, with benefits beginning after 3 months. After 1 year, vacation entitlement starts to increase. If you have experience in business administration and working with diverse and highly barriered client groups, we may consider starting you at a higher wage. The pay range for this position starts at $25.00 per hour, with a maximum of $28.00 per hour.
