Requirements |
Excellent written communication skills, proficient in Word and Excel, able to use government portals, create reports for BOD, proficient in Quickbooks.
Monthly reconciliations, year-end preparation for accountant, budget experience, financial review to BC Housing, collection of rents, payroll experience, able to file T4 and T4a.
Able to perform annual rent calculations in BC Housing portal, monthly financial reports for BOD.
Experience working with non profit organizations would be a benefit.

Duties |
The Erickson Golden Manor is a Non Profit Society that is run by BC Housing and we are operated by a Board of Directors.
We have a wonderful group of 12 units of low income seniors.
This is a part-time position, working 1-3pm 5 days a week (40 hours/month)
This position has 2 part-time contractors, one maintenance and one custodian that report to the Property Manager
This position reports to the Board of Directors
Duties include:
Attend monthly BOD meeting and follow through with BOD directives
Oversee the maintenance and janitorial contractors, liaison with BOD, maintenance and contractors for repairs, maintenance of building and seasonal yard care or building upgrades.
Ensure all tenant concerns are documented, ability to discern if maintenance or further action is needed
Ensure vacancies are filled with suitable tenants as per BOD directive, perform reference checks ensure prospective tenants meet criteria, maintain updated and accurate wait list.
Perform move out & move in annual inspections
