Requirements |
Strong communications / public speaking skills Experience with interactive roles, theatre, teaching Ability to read, learn and communication interpretive knowledge and facts Team player, build rapport with visitors Capable to work with wide variety of individuals in a friendly, respectful, kind and courteous manner Have own means of transportation to Fort Steele Ideal seasonal job opportunity for students, adults, and retirees |
Duties |
Deliver heritage educational programming to school groups Work in a variety of heritage educational and interpretive roles such as historical and domestic live, 1890's schoolhouse, railway, heritage trades, gold panning, Northwest Mounted Police, gossip tours, street scenes Lead guided tours of Fort Steele Heritage Town Dress in period costume (provided by employer) Assist in other duties and programming; staff storefronts, tour groups, special events |
