Production Team: Creston, BC Truline Truss is offering a rewarding opportunity as Production Team in our award-winning team in Creston, British Columbia. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, detail oriented, and motived to grow within the company. As an important member of the production team, you will assist in the assembly of our roof trusses, floor truss and preparation of Engineered Wood Products. Reporting to the Truline Truss Supervisor this position is responsible for assembling components according to Standard Work Operating Procedures. Production Assembler will help our production team to meet or exceed our company goals. This position will give you the opportunity to grow with our company. Knowledge & Experience • Knowledge of building materials • Able to use hammer & read tape measure. • Able to read & understand work orders. • Verbal and written language proficiency in the English language. • Working cooperatively and supportive as a member of a team. Duties |
Duties & Responsibilities • Works with a Team Leader to set up the workstation for each order as directed by the Team Leader. • Assembles components in accordance with the company procedures, SWOP and as instructed by Team Leader. • Regularly inspects and checks the quality of the work being performed as well as the quality of the materials and condition of the equipment; and reports any problems to the Team Leader. • Responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct, and careful manner, as instructed. • Maintains a clean workstation by following a 6S system. Sort, Set-In-Order Shine, Standardize, Sustain & Safety. • Other duties as required. Adopt company Continuous Improvement methods and tools to enhance the production team and production function within the division. Understand and follow all company Health and Safety Policies. Wear proper PPE at in accordance with company practices and provincial requirements. |
