Qualifications required to join as a Non-commissioned member: Age: Between 16 (with parental consent) and 57. Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident Completed the provincial requirements for Grade 10 or Secondary 4 in Quebec. Position will be local to the Cranbrook or Trail area. No move is required. Foreign education may be accepted. |
Duties |
Engineers build everything the army needs and ensure it can get everywhere it needs to go. They are the army’s experts on road and bridge construction, fortification, boat operations, explosives, and more. Engineer soldiers of the 44th deploy in Canada for fires, floods, and other emergencies and serve on missions around the world.
