Ability to cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot food products accurately and efficiently
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a line cook– or relevant experience
Previous Hotel / Resort experience an asset
Must have a food safe certificate
You will be required to obtain a Serving it Right certificate
The cook is responsible for the day-to-day food preparation and cooking in the Casino Restaurant . You would uphold performance standards, policies and procedures such as cooking methods and quality standards while ensuring compliance with food and kitchen-related safety and health regulations. Ensure the cooking of quality food in a clean organized manner and assumes responsibility for quality of products served.
