Requirements |
Post-secondary degree in area of business or tourism management, project management, recreation management, or a combination of relevant post-secondary education and experience. Tourism industry education and/or experience is an asset. Demonstrated multi-year work experience in the listed areas of duties and responsibilities. A great leader, self-motivator, team player, organizer, collaborator and problem solver. Managing budgets and financials. Proficiency in computers and applications Residence in Fernie area. Canadian or permanent resident. |

Project Management - Executing project goals, tasks, and funding requirements professionally, on-time, on-budget Stakeholder Collaboration, Partnerships & Relations - Building strategic partnerships, creating and maintaining positive professional relationships Grant Winning, Writing & Administration - Co-managing grant sourcing and writing. Manage grant admin. Communications - speaking, presentations, e-newsletter project updates, facilitated meetings, proposals, reports, engagement initiatives Research & Data - Acquiring and use of quality information for planning and decision-making |
