Now hiring drivers for taxi services in the Fernie area - Accommodation can be provided upon successful completion of training and acceptance (if needed) - Class 4 Driver's License required - * we will financially assist for getting an upgrade to Class 4, if needed, for successful applicants *. - Seniors or mature drivers encouraged to apply. - Must have a professional appearance and professional social etiquette - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Outstanding interpersonal skills. - Ability to work shifts, on weekends, and on public holidays, as needed. |
| Duties |
- Picking up clients at the start of their journey as per request, appointment, or schedule and transporting them to their destinations - Assisting clients with loading and unloading their baggage and other personal belongings, as needed. - Ensuring that each journey remains safe and pleasant. - Starting and stopping the taximeter at the correct times and maintaining travel logs - Processing cash payments, ensuring that you carry sufficient change at all times. - Adhering to road and safety regulations. - Selecting the quickest route to the client's destination, unless otherwise requested. - Informing clients of services and attractions that may be of interest to them. - Ensuring that the vehicle remains clean and in excellent, safe, working condition at all times. |
