Requirements |
The applicants will have their Early Childhood Education Certification, and a current License to Practice (or be in process). Experience working in the field of childcare/early childhood development in preferred and accordingly, preference will be given to applicants who have training, skills and/or experience working with children with a range of developmental delays, disabilities and/or diverse needs. Applicants with Education Assistant training and work experience will be considered. Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Also looking for someone with an understanding of and passion for inclusive practices. Able to work independently, managing various schedules and demonstrate the ability to be organized and reliable with time management and keeping track of their schedule. Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with young children and an awareness of developmentally appropriate practice. Successful criminal record screening. Membership with BCGEU |
