Making sure each guest who comes into the rental shop is made to feel welcome and appreciated
Knowledgeable in all departments and products that the rental shop has to offer (i.e. skis, snowboards, snowblades, telemark skis, snowshoes etc.)
Fitting the guest to the best of your ability with the equipment they desire as to ensure their experience is a positive one.
Use of a cash till, taking payment and being self sufficient using the rental computer program ‘Sports Rental’
Being knowledgeable in different types of payments and how to appropriately process them (Credit Card, Debit, vouchers, and promotions etc.)
Cashing out of one or more tills at the end of the day
Keeping the Rental Shop tidy, organized and clean including designated staff areas
Completing equipment inventory on a regular basis
Experience in a guest service environment
Cash Control skills
General computer literacy (knowledge of ‘Sports Rental’ program an asset)
