The Parastone team of companies provides landmark construction and development services in the beautiful East Kootenay region of British Columbia. Parastone is seeking an Office Manager who will ensure office operations are organized, efficient and timely.
Duties will include greeting visitors to the office, scheduling meetings, preparation of correspondence and application forms, managing insurance for all operations, ordering and organizing office supplies and inventory, as well as pro-active maintenance of the records management system. The Office Manager will also act in the Executive Assistant capacity to the General Manager which will include coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, booking travel and taking minutes.
As the ideal candidate, you will have 3-5 years of experience working in a fast-paced office environment with the ability to show initiative and proactively resolve problems. You will have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and the ability to communicate comfortably both in person and in writing with tact and diplomacy. You maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing documents and are skilled in maintaining complete and organized files. Knowledge of records management and/or the construction industry would be an asset.
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be available to work during regular business hours, approximately 20-25 hours per week.

Wage dependent on experience
